Story
EUROSHARKS is the biggest fan club of San Jose Sharks NHL team in Europe. The story began in 2018 when EUROSHARKS’ founder Juraj Mihálik put together a group of people who hadn’t known each other before and they travelled to sunny California to experience an NHL adventure. Four men from Slovakia and one from the Czech Republic first met on the day they left to the US. Their goal was clear – to watch a San Jose Sharks game live in the Shark Tank. Their week in California was full of lifetime experiences. Soon enough the idea to unite all Sharks fans in Europe and create EUROSHARKS turned into reality.
At the same time, EUROSHARKS Civic Association was established. The aim of this association is to organize or co-organize activities for EUROSHARKS members, their families and the general public. One of our primary goals is to create an active San Jose Sharks fan base in Europe and to organize fan meet-ups in various European cities. At each meet-up, a person from the Sharks team environment will be invited. Another aim is to organize trips to watch San Jose Sharks games live, to organize fan trips, to connect Sharks fans and to create a big European shark family.
